Challenge #60 Midway: Welcome to the North Pole

Challenge #60
Welcome to the
North Pole
Midway

Hello and Happy New Year everyone! Welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what the theme is all about:

Welcome to the North Pole. It is the original home place of Brrr and Brrnice before they moved to Canada. If you take a look and follow the road to the right, you'll come across the Penguin Pavilion. This is a favourite haunt of our beloved Brrr Family, and any time they can manage, they try and take a trip home to visit with Santa and all their relatives still living here!

If you glance to the left, you'll find the road that will take you to Santa's Workshop. Unfortunately, even though Christmas has just past, there is still lots for Santa and the Elves to take care of. Many lists that need to be rolled away, and tons of supplies that need to be packed up and put into storage. As such, there just isn't any time for one of the Elves to take you on a proper tour but you are more than welcome to take a look around by yourself. Just be sure not to touch anything or you will end up on Santa's naughty list for next year and you don't want that to happen. Before you head on your way back home, be sure to grab a cup of cocoa and a sugar cookie from Mrs Claus. There seems to be lots left over from the holiday celebrations. Plus, she has been pretty lonely lately and could use a quick chat!

Since The North Pole is such a special place for the Brrr family, they would really like your creations for this challenge to include an element that might be found in the North Pole (fantasy version of course). Examples include: elf type images, Santa, Mrs Claus, presents, toys, images that have a sign for the North Pole in them, penguins of course, reindeer, polar bears, etc.

The Brrr Family will actually be adding their votes to the Top Picks for this challenge so you'll definitely want to do them proud!

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had nine great entries so far this month but we'd love to see some more!
